Xiaomi has launched its new budget smartphone Redmi 9i in India on 15 September 2020. This smartphone has been launched in two variants of 4GB & 64GB and 4GB & 128GB. The phone has a dimension of 164.9mm x 77.07mm x 9mm and weighs 194 grams. It has a 5000 mAh Li-Po battery. It will be available in the smartphone market in Midnight Black, Nature Green and Sea Blue colors. This smartphone is similar to Redmi 9A. Redmi 9A and Redmi 9i differ only in RAM and internal storage.
Display & Processor
Redmi 9i has a 6.53 inch HD + IPS display, with 1600 x 720 pixel display resolution, HD+ resolution type, Panda Glass Protection Type, 268PPi Graphic Density and IMG GE8320 Graphic Processing Unit. The phone is powered by MediaTek Helio G25 processor. The primary clock speed of the processor is 2 GHz and the secondary clock speed is 1.5 GHz. It is based on smart Android 10 and the user interface is MIUI 12.
Redmi 9i has 13MP primary camera and 5MP front camera. Its primary camera has HDR, Portrait, Al Scene Detection, Kaleidoscope, Filters, Pro mode and front camera has HDR, Portrait, Plam Shutter, Screen Flash, Beauty Mode etc.
Sensor options include face unlock sensor, accelerometer, proximity sensor, GPS, E-Compaas, Magnetic Induction Sensor and Ambient Light Sensor etc.
Storage, Battery & Connectivity
Redmi 9i is launched with 4GB RAM and 64GB & 128GB internal storage. Internal storage can be expanded up to 512GB with the help of memory card. The phone has a 5000 mAh Li-Polymer battery.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi direct, Wi-Fi Standard 802.11a / b / g / n, Bluetooth version 5.0, Pre installed Chrome Browser, Google Map, 3.5mm earphone jack port and USB Type C port.
