Xiaomi has launched a new smartphone Redmi 9A in India. It was launched globally on 30 June, 2020 but may be launched in India on 11 September, 2020. It has been launched in single variants of 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, which can be increased upto 512GB with the help of memory card. Its starting price is around Rs. 6,500. This smartphone will be launched in Midnight GRAY, Twilight Blue and Peacock Green colors. Its dimensions are 164.9mm × 7.07mm × 9.0mm and weight 194 gram. It has a 5000 mAh non-removable battery.

It has a 6.53-inch HD + IPS display with 1600 × 720 pixel resolution, 269 PPi density, display protection type-Gorilla Glass. This smartphone is powered by MediaTek Helio G25 with a primary speed of 2GHz. Its operating system is Android 10 and user interface MIUI 11.
Its primary camera is 13MP and the front camera is 5MP. It has LED flashlight at the rear. It has face unlock, Ambient light sensor, magnetic induction sensor, Gyroscope, GPS, Proximity Sensor and Accelerometer.

Redmi 9A has 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, which can be increased upto 512 GB with the help of micro SD card. It has a 5000 mAh Lithium-ion battery but there is no flash charging and wireless charging. This smartphone is dual 4G supported.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, USB Type C, Bluetooth version 5.0 and 3.5mm earphone jack.
